Description

Metal HTV features a smooth finish, soft hand, and a brushed metal appearance that can be washed and worn without becoming lackluster. Unlike other metallic heat transfers, Metal HTV is super light-weight so you can wear it on almost anything. This fashion forward material is ideal for bridal parties, spirit wear, cheer, dance, and any occasion that needs a gleaming touch! Use in conjunction with other materials such as EasyWeed or StripFlock for awesome designs that hit on multiple levels! Metal is layerable as a TOP LAYER ONLY.

Metal is 100 Microns / 3.9 Mils and is a PET composition.

The specifications listed are suggested starting points that may need to be adjusted according to blade, cutting strip and cutting mat wear. Always perform a test cut prior to cutting designs.

Applications Instructions

For Home Iron

  1. Set iron dial between Cotton and Linen
  2. Cover design with Multipurpose Paper or Heat Transfer Cover Sheet
  3. Place on flat, hard surface (ironing board not recommended)
  4. Press iron with medium/firm pressure (do not slide iron)
  5. Press each section of design for 10-15 seconds
  6. If areas of design lift after application, replace cover sheet and re-press for 5-10 seconds
  7. Peel carrier cold

For Heat Press

  1. Cover with Heat Transfer Cover Sheet or Multipurpose Paper
  2. Preheat garment for 2-3 seconds
  3. Apply design at 305°F/150°C
  4. Use medium pressure for 10-15 seconds
  5. If areas of design lift after application, replace cover sheet and re-press for 5-10 seconds
  6. Peel carrier cold

Care Instructions

  • Wait 24 hours before first wash
  • Machine wash cold with mild detergent
  • Do not bleach or dry clean
  • Dry on low setting
